Interim Head of Product | Digital Assets Bank

Our client is a next-generation digital assets banking organisation undergoing a significant period of growth and transformation.

They are seeking an Interim Head of Product to lead the product function in a highly hands-on capacity, working directly with the executive team to shape, build and deliver core product capabilities.

This is not a pure strategy role. We are looking for a true product and commercial athlete, someone who can operate end-to-end, from deep technical engagement through to commercial ownership and regulatory alignment.

The Role:

• Lead the full product lifecycle across a scaling digital assets banking platform
• Own product strategy, execution and delivery across core banking to tadfi customers and digital asset firms
• Work closely with engineering teams to drive build, architecture alignment and delivery velocity
• Translate complex regulatory, legal and compliance requirements into product design
• Partner with commercial teams to shape product-market fit and revenue generation
• Operate as the most senior product leader in a lean, high-performing team

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience leading product within institutional banking, transaction banking or fintech environments, with exposure to digital assets
• A hands-on product athlete with strong technical fluency (able to engage engineers, read architecture, understand system design, ideally with some coding exposure)
• A strong commercial athlete with a deep understanding of banking economics and product constructs
• Background in tier-one or high-quality institutional financial services environments, with additional exposure to retail banking
• Deep understanding of the institutional digital assets ecosystem, ideally having worked within or alongside crypto-native organisations
• Strong interest and familiarity with next-generation financial infrastructure (stablecoins, new payment rails, evolving digital asset ecosystems)
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating in ambiguity within a scaling organisation
