Apprentice Engineering Technician
Role
The Apprentice Engineering Technician will work alongside skilled engineers and Technicians every day to learn how the product works.
This will be achieved through:
- Direct hands-on training
- Learning how to build test, commission, integrate and deploy our Lidars
Most of this work is conducted at our purpose-built Engineering, Production and Service facility near Malvern with occasional time spent at our remote testing site base near Pershore.
Once you have mastered the skills to build new Lidars we’ll introduce you to servicing and maintaining lidars.
We have a huge fleet of Lidars distributed across the globe. These Lidars are periodically returned for service, repair and upgrade activities. It’s anticipated that once fully qualified the Apprentice Engineering Technician will join our Service Team as a Service Engineer, where they will own the whole Service process from start to finish.
This will include a full detailed report of the received condition, recommendations for repair and or service, detailing parts required to complete the repair or service, completing the repair to the highest quality standards and finally preparing the unit to be packed and returned.
