Soon to close a substantial Series B investment from a leading European VC, the company is scaling fast, and has just been named as one of the top 30 fastest growing tech firms in the UK.

The company’s AI-powered platform transforms how businesses capture and utilise data, streamlining operations and enabling predictive insights across sectors like energy, FMCG, mining, manufacturing and infrastructure.

With a growing customer base and a recurring revenue model, the business now seeks its first senior finance hire: a VP of Finance who can grow into a CFO role as the company scales. This role offers a great opportunity to build an AI-first Finance Function, utilising cutting-edge technologies, ensuring finance is fit for purpose to support rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and improve finance operations, controls and reporting across the business enabling technology wherever possible.
• Manage financial filings, board resolutions and investor reporting in coordination with external advisors.
• Own month end processes including cashflow forecasting and working capital planning.
• Work cross functionally with sales, ops and product teams to align commercial planning with financial goals.
• Partner closely with the CEO to shape financial strategy and support future fundraising efforts.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling to support strategic decision making.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to track product margins and SaaS metrics.

What background should you have before you press apply?

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
• Experience in a high growth tech, SaaS or B2B environment.
• Experience implementing an AI-first Finance Function.
• Comfortable in a Head of Finance or senior finance business partner role within a scaleup or SME.
• Confident building financial models, leading FP&A, and supporting strategic planning.
• Interested in exposure to corporate development, investor relations and future CFO responsibilities.
• Experience supporting fundraising or working alongside VCs is highly desired.
