Senior AI Engineer - Contract

Type: Outside IR35

Rate: £500/day - £550/day

Location: Remote (UK-based only)

Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with scope for extension

The Engagement

Well-funded early-stage AI tech company disrupting its space. The team is small, technically strong, and moving quickly.

The Role

You will work directly on core AI systems designing and improving multi-agent pipelines.

This is a senior, end-to-end engineering role. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, engage directly with senior stakeholders, and take meaningful ownership of the platform.

Key Requirements

• Strong Python development skills
• Hands-on experience with LLMs
• AWS experience
• LLM observability tooling (e.g. Langfuse, Datadog or similar) - essential
• Experience testing non-deterministic AI systems
• Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain or equivalent
