Our client is a $600M+ ARR global enterprise AI platform business with that transforms how large organisations build and deploy mission-critical applications. Following three consecutive years of quota overperformance, they are now entering their most significant growth phase yet. Critical to this success is the hire of a world class VP EMEA.
The Role
As VP of Sales, EMEA, you will own one of the company's largest and highest-performing revenue regions. You will lead a team of 65-80 professionals through a fundamental shift in market positioning, from horizontal sales plays to industry-focused motions, while driving aggressive new logo acquisition across Global 2000 enterprises.
This role requires both strategic vision and commercial execution. You will set the direction, develop the talent, and be personally accountable for the region's performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute EMEA-wide sales strategy, repositioning the business into the AI Platform category
- Lead industry-focused sales plays across Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Public Sector
- Drive new logo acquisition with Global 2000 enterprises, positioning the platform as essential Agentic Systems infrastructure
- Lead and scale 65-80 professionals including 5-7 Regional VPs, 10-12 RSD's, and 50+ quota carriers
- Build and maintain peer-level relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and CDOs across the region
- Orchestrate go-to-market alignment across Marketing, Customer Success, and a broad partner ecosystem including global SIs
- Maintain a data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting
About You
- 15+ years in enterprise software sales, with 7+ years in senior EMEA leadership at VP level or equivalent
- Demonstrated track record of scaling a region from $250M toward $500M+ and beyond ARR
- Proven experience leading a sales organisation through a fundamental messaging and category shift
- Deep understanding of AI, PaaS, DevOps, SaaS and Application Development landscapes
- Ability to articulate the value of LLMs and agentic orchestration to both technical and business audiences
- Experience building industry-led sales plays within Financial Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Public Sector
- Proficient in MEDDPICC and a data-driven approach to pipeline health
- Strong cultural intelligence across DACH, UK, Benelux, and the Middle East
