BI Solutions - Engagement Manger
We are a rapidly growing Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Automation consulting team, and we’re recruiting for a Solutions Engagement Manager to work with potential clients, creating value-focused data solutions proposals.
This is a hybrid role that combines customer engagement with some hands-on technical delivery. You’ll lead conversations with senior stakeholders to uncover stated and hidden needs, run workshops to define requirements, and translate business challenges into practical, high-impact solutions.
You’ll also play a key role in delivering client-funded projects, applying your technical expertise to ensure solutions deliver measurable value.

Lead workshops and discovery sessions to uncover stated and hidden needs.
Promote the full range of our capabilities across BI, analytics, automation, and integration.
Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to shape and price solutions.
Deliver technical solutions in your area of expertise, ensuring successful outcomes.
Our ideal candidate will:
Have significant technical delivery experience in data, analytics, or automation solutions
Excel at client engagement, including running workshops, building trust, and uncovering hidden needs
Be passionate about using technology to solve business challenges, and can translate complex requirements into practical solutions
Responsibilities:
Commercial & Client Engagement
Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to qualify opportunities, clarify requirements, and shape proposals with accurate scope, pricing, and timelines.
Lead client workshops and discovery sessions as a subject matter expert to capture goals, priorities, and technical needs across Data, Analytics, Automation, and Integration.
Present and position solutions to senior business and technical stakeholders, clearly articulating value, ROI, and alignment with client objectives.
Act as the primary point of contact for “BI-as-a-Service” engagements, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction, adoption, and measurable value delivery.
Solution Design
Translate business requirements into actionable solution designs across BI, analytics, automation, and integration domains.
Define architecture, data flows, and technology components that meet client objectives while ensuring scalability and best practices.
Collaborate with internal technical specialists to validate feasibility and optimize solution design for performance and cost efficiency.
Technical Delivery
Lead delivery of client-funded projects, managing self and virtual teams to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
Apply hands-on expertise in your technical domain (e.g., BI, automation, integration) to ensure successful implementation and measurable business outcomes.
Monitor project progress, proactively address risks, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Thought Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in BI, analytics, and automation to advise clients on innovative solutions.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, solution accelerators, and best practices to enhance team capability and delivery efficiency.
Team
Build strong collaborative relationships with Sales, Commercial and customer teams and establish yourself as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor.

Commercial & Consulting Skills
Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to craft compelling solution narratives and business cases.
Experience in pricing and scoping professional services engagements.
Workshop facilitation and requirements gathering expertise.
Technical Delivery Skills
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
Business Intelligence & Dashboarding (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Analytics & Reporting (e.g. JasperSoft, IBM Cognos Analytics)
Automation (e.g. Power Automate, Alteryx)
Systems Integration (e.g. APIs, ETL tools)
Understanding of data architecture and solution lifecycle management.
Capable of conveying complex concepts in simple terms and tailoring the presentation style of delivery to suit the audience.
Leadership & Collaboration
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client expectations.
Experience in managing ongoing service engagements and ensuring value delivery.
Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Desirable Experience
Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
Exposure to pricing models and commercial frameworks in service delivery.
Experience working on Payroll, HR, ERP or Data Warehouse integration, ideally working with transactional and master data to/from other business applications is highly desirable.
