IT Manager

We’re looking for an experienced IT professional to take ownership of business systems and technology across the business, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You’ll work closely with operational teams, Group IT and external partners to support users, improve systems and help deliver ongoing Business Central development.

The role

• Act as the main Business Central contact, providing user support, troubleshooting and guidance.
• Support the implementation, testing, rollout and continued development of Business Central.
• Work with teams across the business to identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting.
• Manage requirements and work with developers, suppliers and Group IT on system enhancements.
• Provide local IT support covering Microsoft 365, Windows, hardware, printers, Wi-Fi, basic networking and mobile devices.
• Support tablets and handheld technology used across warehouse and operational environments.
• Act as a local escalation point for IT issues and work with the central helpdesk to resolve incidents.
• Identify opportunities for automation, digital improvement and greater operational efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with users and managers across the business and travel between sites when required.
• Work within Group IT standards and company requirements covering cybersecurity, health & safety and environmental responsibilities.

You’ll ideally have

• Strong experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Previous experience in an IT leadership, systems or senior support role.
• Broad IT knowledge, including Microsoft 365, Windows 11, mobile devices and basic networking/infrastructure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• The ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.

The role requires someone who is practical, customer-focused and comfortable working across both business systems and hands-on IT support.
