Embedded Software Consultant – C/C++  
Jönköping, Sweden (Hybrid or Onsite)
6–12 Month Initial Contract
€60 – €100/hour, or SEK 700 – 950/hour (depending on experience)

We're partnering with some of Sweden’s most innovative product companies, and due to ongoing project wins and business growth, we're now looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer who enjoys variety, working directly with customers, and staying hands-on with embedded systems in real-world applications.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working directly with clients on real-world embedded systems projects
• Developing and debugging C/C++ firmware and software for complex electronic products
• Troubleshooting issues across hardware and software layers
• Running board-level tests and using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analysers
• Helping shape software-driven hardware requirements
• Taking part in the full development lifecycle within agile and DevOps-oriented teams

What We’re Looking For:

• A Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, Computer Engineering or similar
• Strong embedded C/C++ development experience
• A genuine interest in staying hands-on in embedded systems
• Solid experience working close to hardware – able to take measurements and perform board-level debugging
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Experience using GIT and DevOps tools
• Familiarity with IAR Embedded Workbench or Eclipse IDE
• Fluent in both Swedish and English (written and spoken)
