New Business Sales Executive
The New Business Sales Executive will contribute to the development and growth of profitable new business, maintain effective key customer relationships as well as ensure business growth through managing business development activities.
This role will sit within our New Business Sales team, a team that is growing quickly. Working with businesses with a turnover of £5m to £100m, you will be focused on converting a range of deal sizes and sales cycles across a range of inbound and outbound opportunities. You will help the business identify and acquire new accounts that will have a major strategic impact on the long-term success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Closing multi-year deals with growing companies.
- Developing targeted account plans, working with stakeholders in marketing to deliver those plans and building your network within those accounts
- Selling the value of our [Technology Managed Services and Solutions and then developing opportunities through negotiation and contract closure].
- Work closely with the Marketing Team and Head of Marketing to manage the MQL > SQL > Close lifecycle.
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
- Ensure the Zenzero brand message is communicated in a strong and consistent way
- To promote a positive and professional environment in the sales and marketing teams to staff, internal, external, corporate, and commercial customers.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained throughout all aspects of the operational function.
- Promote a positive and professional image of the Sales & Marketing team at all times.
- Promote a working environment which maximises the contribution made by all staff in achieving personal and team objectives.
- Ensure all processes and procedures are compliant with client SLAs and ISO27001 and ISO9001.
- Be adept in all key systems in use within the Sales and Marketing teams to monitor quality, compliance, and performance.
- Learn new systems and services, as required, and share knowledge with the wider team.
- Assist the senior management team in identifying business opportunities to develop and enhance the service to clients.
- Attending and fully participating in internal and external meetings and events as required
Key Skills
- Experience in a full-stack sales role, building pipeline and closing opportunities.
- Experience in a high velocity sales team, creating SQLs and closing multiple opportunities in a month.
- Demonstrated consistent quota achievement across multiple quarters in a multitude of sales cycles (ranging from 1 week to 3 months).
- Selling the value of our [Technology Managed Services and Solutions and then developing opportunities through negotiation and contract closure].
- Experience managing personal sales pipeline
- 4+ years’ experience in a full-stack sales role, building pipeline and closing opportunities.
- Experience in a high velocity sales team, creating SQLs and closing multiple opportunities in a month.
- Demonstrated consistent quota achievement across multiple quarters in a multitude of sales cycles (ranging from 1 week to 3 months).
- Strong experience in Sales and Business Development with an ability to create and manage a list of target new business accounts.
- Experience developing sales presentations and running sales meetings with clients and external vendors.
