£150k-£170k base + equity
We’re partnering with a high-growth Series B AI company building AI-powered productivity software. The business has added $20M+ ARR in the last 12 months, is ~70 people, and is backed by top-tier global investors.
They’re hiring a Founding Design Lead to work directly with the founders and engineering team, shaping the product and design direction at a pivotal stage of the company.
This role starts highly hands-on - owning product design across core workflows - with the opportunity to grow into Head of Product Design as the team scales.
What you’ll do
- Own end-to-end product design across core workflows, shipping improvements quickly in a fast-moving environment
- Work closely with founders and engineering to define problems, shape solutions and drive execution
- Establish the foundations for how design operates (process, standards, ways of working)
- Help shape the broader product experience as the company expands into SaaS and enterprise
- Hire the first additional designers and grow the function over time
What they’re looking for
- Currently operating as a Lead / Principal Product Designer, or a design leader still close to the work
- Strong product thinking with experience owning complex products end-to-end
- Background in product-led startups or high-quality scaleups
- Excited about a hands-on founding role with significant ownership and ambiguity
- AI experience a plus
