Zinc Systems ('Zinc') is UK-based SaaS provider specialising in critical event management incident management and resilience technology, powered by our flagship platform 'Zinc', we help organisations anticipate, respond to and recover from incident more effectively.

Our modular platform empowers security, risk, estates, and operations teams to streamline processes such as:

Zinc serves clients across commercial real estate, retail and security/FMs, amongst others. With investment backing and strong market traction, we are scaling rapidly and looking for exceptional talent to help us grow. With forecasted year-on-year growth of 50%, we are seeking outstanding talent to play a central role in our continued success.

What we need

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate Zincs' growth across key sectors. As an individual contributor you will be responsible for sourcing, developing, and closing new business opportunities and helping shape our go-to-market strategy for the Zinc platform.

This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to expand our footprint and build long-term client partnerships.

Requirements

· Identify, research, and target prospective clients within priority sectors

· Lead outbound prospecting campaigns using multi-channel outreach

· Qualify inbound enquiries and conduct discovery calls, demos, and value-focused presentations.

· Build compelling proposals and business cases highlighting the value of the Zinc platform.

· Apply a MEDDIC-based sales process to qualify opportunities and drive predictable forecasting.

· Work with internal stakeholders on pricing, commercial structures, and contract execution.

· Gather intelligence on market trends, competitor offerings, and sector risk challenges.

· Feed product teams with insights on feature requests, workflows, and integration opportunities.

· Support marketing with content ideas, sector insights, and campaign feedback.

· Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to represent Zinc and generate leads.

· Support the development of partner and channel relationships.

· Maintain accurate CRM data and forecasting to support revenue planning.

Desirables

· Proven experience in a B2B software (Saas) sales environment

· Background in selling PropTech

· Experience in incident management, critical event management, or security-tech SaaS.

· Existing relationships within relevant sectors.

· Proficiency with HubSpot

· Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding targets

· Strong entrepreneurial mindset and drive
