Product Manager

Product Manager

Digital Assets Infrastructure

Remote (UK)

Salary: £60-75k p.a.

About the Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our product team, reporting to the Head of Product. Zumo is a B2B platform, and you'll work across our core digital asset infrastructure, client-facing interfaces, and back-office systems — the full set of products that power our partners' digital asset offerings, from launch through growth.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role at a pivotal moment for the team. You'll own day-to-day product execution, and as the team grows and matures, so will the scope of the role.

You'll work in close collaboration with our Product Designer and engineering team, and partner with Compliance, Risk, and Commercial to ship products that are usable, scalable, and regulated-ready.

This is a remote UK-based role, with mandatory in-person team meetups in Edinburgh on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Own PRDs, requirements, and delivery lifecycle management across client-facing interfaces, back-office systems, and platform features
  • Run sprint management and work closely with engineering squads to ship well-scoped, well-tested work
  • Lead client onboarding and integration support — translating partner needs into clear requirements and guiding them through delivery
  • Drive integrations with third-party infrastructure providers (custodians, liquidity venues, KYC/AML providers, market data sources, and similar), owning scoping, requirements, and delivery alongside engineering
  • Handle first-line product queries from clients, partners and internal teams, escalating where needed
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Designer and engineering team on flows, journeys, and delivery decisions
  • Partner with Compliance to translate regulatory change into actionable product scope, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
  • Contribute to roadmap planning, prioritisation, and the rolling view of upcoming product and regulatory-driven change
  • Use data, client feedback, and market insight to validate decisions and inform prioritisation
  • Support readiness for new product capabilities, asset classes, and regulatory regimes as they emerge
  • Define and track success metrics for your product areas, ensuring delivery stays aligned with company goals and commercial priorities

Skills & Experience

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, crypto, or financial services
  • Proven track record owning products end-to-end, from discovery and requirements through agile delivery, launch, and iteration.
  • Experience delivering products in regulated environments and working closely with Compliance or Risk functions as part of the delivery process
  • Hands-on experience scoping and delivering integrations with third-party providers — translating external constraints, APIs, and contractual commitments into clear product requirements
  • Experience with B2B or API-first products
  • Strong verbal and written communication — clear PRDs, tight acceptance criteria, sharp client-facing materials
  • Comfortable with technical topics (APIs, integrations, backend architecture) and confident working closely with engineers
  • You have an analytical mindset, and use data and customer insight to guide decisions and prioritise ruthlessly
  • Experience managing a product backlog and driving delivery in an agile environment
  • Ownership mindset — you take problems end-to-end and are proactive about finding the right solution
  • You are outcome-oriented; you define what success looks like, track it, and hold yourself and the team accountable to it
  • A team player who works well across Design, Engineering, Compliance, and Commercial
  • Comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with FSMA or comparable UK financial services regulatory frameworks
  • Exposure to digital assets, blockchain, or crypto, though genuine curiosity matters most

Benefits

Our mission is to create an environment where you can do the best work of your career.

  • Fully remote position with opportunities for quarterly team gatherings to develop interpersonal relationships and foster a sense of connection among the team.
  • Pension - We give you flexibility to opt in to our voluntary company pension scheme.
  • Generous holiday allowance of 40 days per year, including bank holidays.
  • You'll join a team that values learning, curiosity, and continuous growth.
