Associate Consultant – Strategy, Technology & AI

Hammersmith, London | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)

£40,000–£50,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We're looking for an ambitious Associate Consultant to join a growing boutique strategy consultancy working with some of the world's leading technology businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for an exceptional graduate or early-career professional with strong analytical skills, commercial curiosity and a genuine interest in technology, business strategy and AI.

You'll work closely with founders and senior consultants, gaining exposure to global technology clients, complex business challenges and senior decision-makers, while developing your consulting skills and taking on responsibility early in your career.

The consultancy helps technology businesses turn customer insight into commercial strategy, covering product development, pricing, portfolio strategy, customer experience and go-to-market planning.

As Associate Consultant, you'll support projects from research and analysis through to strategic recommendations, using qualitative and quantitative evidence to develop meaningful insights and practical solutions. You'll also help build and test AI-powered tools and prototypes that support the consultancy's evolving approach to strategic advice.

Responsibilities of this Associate Consultant include:

• Researching markets, competitors, customers and industry trends to support strategic projects

• Conducting interviews, analysing survey data and identifying commercially valuable insights

• Developing client presentations, reports and strategic recommendations supported by robust evidence

• Supporting client workshops, meetings and project delivery

• Building and testing AI-powered tools, prototypes, dashboards and workflows

• Working closely with senior consultants to solve complex business challenges for global technology clients

• Managing project tasks, reviewing deliverables and ensuring work is accurate and completed to a high standard

To be considered for this Associate Consultant role, you'll need:

• A strong academic record from a highly regarded university, either as a graduate or someone approaching graduation

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative information

• Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, compelling presentations

• A genuine interest in technology, commercial strategy and how businesses grow

• Experience taking an idea through to a finished outcome, whether a university project, venture, product, event or personal initiative

• Practical experience creating an AI-powered tool, prototype, workflow or service, with the ability to explain how you developed and tested it

• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach

• Fluent English; additional languages such as German, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin or French would be advantageous

What's on offer?

• £40,000–£50,000 salary plus bonus

• Hybrid working – three days per week in Hammersmith

• Opportunity to work with leading global technology businesses

• Direct exposure to founders, senior consultants and client decision-makers

• Hands-on experience in strategy consulting and practical AI development

• A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with excellent opportunities for professional development

• Additional benefits including private healthcare, an equity scheme and generous holiday allowance

This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in strategy consulting within a growing, forward-thinking business where you'll be encouraged to contribute ideas, develop new skills and make a genuine impact from day one.
