SAP Application Manager - Outside IR35 - 6 months - Hybrid (Glasgow)

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Application Manager to take ownership of its SAP landscape, acting as the internal SAP lead and trusted advisor to the business.

The role will support a major S/4HANA upgrade programme, drive SAP BTP adoption, and manage relationships with external SAP partners to ensure maximum value is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Support the upgrade from SAP S/4HANA 2022 to S/4HANA 2025.
Act as the internal SAP representative and trusted advisor to the business.
Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and operational stakeholders to understand requirements and drive solutions.
Manage and challenge external SAP partners, ensuring accountability and value delivery.
Support and drive adoption of SAP BTP capabilities.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and continuous enhancement.
Provide SAP expertise across multiple modules, with a particular focus on Finance.

Required Experience

Proven SAP experience across multiple modules, particularly SAP FI/CO.
Experience delivering or supporting SAP S/4HANA upgrade projects.
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
Experience working with external SAP consultancies and systems integrators.
Broad SAP knowledge, ideally spanning Finance, Supply Chain, and integration areas.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
