SAP Technical TM (Transportation Management) Consultant
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical TM Consultant to support the design, build, integration, and delivery of SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions within complex SAP landscapes. The role combines hands-on ABAP development, TM configuration/customising, system integration, and end-to-end testing across ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
You will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and integration teams to deliver scalable, high-quality TM solutions aligned with business and logistics processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesSAP TM Technical & Functional Delivery

Design, configure, and enhance SAP TM solutions to support transportation planning, execution, settlement, and freight processes

Perform TM configuration and customising (eg transportation planning, charge management, carrier integration, PPF, condition techniques)

Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and solutions
ABAP Development

Develop and enhance ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, forms, and custom frameworks

Support ABAP OO development within SAP TM and S/4HANA environments

Debug and resolve complex technical issues across TM and integrated modules
Integration

Design and support integrations between SAP TM and other SAP/non-SAP systems, including:

SAP ECC/S/4HANA (SD, MM, LE, EWM)

SAP GTS, SAP EM, SAP CPI/PI/PO

External carrier and logistics systems via IDocs, APIs, XML, ED
