Technical Team Lead (SAP ABAP/Fiori/Integration/EWM) - £550 per day Outside IR35 - 3 months
We are currently looking for a very senior Technical Team Lead to join a major SAP EWM programme, taking ownership of an offshore team of technical consultants. This role would suit a senior SAP ABAP Technical Lead/Lead Developer who is comfortable operating in a hands-on leadership capacity while managing technical delivery across a complex project environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an offshore technical team, driving delivery quality, and acting as a senior point of contact across technical and business stakeholders. Although this is supporting an SAP EWM project, we are open to candidates from a broader SAP technical background, provided they have the right seniority, leadership capability, and strong expertise across ABAP, Fiori, and integrations.
Responsibilities:
Leading and coordinating an offshore team of SAP technical consultants
Driving technical delivery across ABAP developments, Fiori objects, and integration workstreams
Acting as the senior technical point of contact across the SAP EWM project
Challenging stakeholders where required and providing strong technical direction and governance
Ensuring high delivery standards, momentum, and energy across the wider technical team
Requirements:
Extensive senior-level SAP technical experience, ideally in a Technical Lead/Team Lead capacity
Strong SAP ABAP and Fiori expertise, with the ability to remain hands-on where needed
Proven experience working on SAP integration topics across complex landscapes
Previous experience supporting SAP EWM projects is highly desirable
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to push back, influence, and drive outcomes
