MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE LEADING DATA MIGRATION PROJECT

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Data Migration Team Lead to work with them on a contract.

The responsibilities of the Data Migration Team Lead will include:

· Deputise for the Head of Data Migration and Data Transfer in programmes and act as workstream lead if applicable.

· Designing, leading, & driving the Data migration and data transfer strategy and full end to end migration lifecycle for various Programmes.

· Tech Authoring of documents that describe the migration/transfer process developed.

· Supporting the Head in ensuring data quality and formal reconciliation frameworks are in place in all Programme including automated reconciliation and exception management.

· Lead on data readiness , data mapping, transformation and cutover tasks.

· Risk and issue management with governance responsibility for data lineage and migration checkpoints i.e. dry run, dress rehearsals , cutover and Implementation

· Creating an integrated relationship with the IT teams that will help build and test the technology to support the migration approach.

· Work with operations teams to design, develop and approve setup of reference / static data for testing and go-live.

· Working with delivery teams and business stakeholders to ensure data quality is at the required level before migration.

· Coordinate with business process stakeholders to ensure that the business context and impacts are considered.

· Ultimately ensuring a successful transfer of assets, liabilities and staff into the banks platforms.

· A lead SME in the Data migration and data transfer team for various Programmes.

· Post-Transfer Validation.

· Tech Authoring of documents.

· Coordinate with business process stakeholders.

· Ultimately support through efficient cutover and implementation a successful transfer of assets, liabilities and staff data.

· Post-Transfer Review.

· Stakeholder Communication.

· Champion the use of modern migration tools and automation to reduce risk and manual effort.

The successful Data Migration Team Lead will have experience in:

• Leading a team and working with data migration / data transfer / data migration function for cutover and implementation.

• Developing new monitoring and reporting.

• Cleansing existing data and creating pipelines to move data to new platforms.

• Identifying, scope and develop migration/transfer solutions.

• Strong data skills and be adept at querying large datasets, as well as familiar with ETL concepts and tools such as Alteryx.

• Experience working in financial services / banking.

• Experience in KYC processes.

• The ability to identify, manage and maintain Risk (RAID) Logs.
