cer Financial are working alongside an international, warm and exciting bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to work with them on a 6-months contract.

The responsibilities of the Senior Delivery Manager will include:

  • Lead the delivery of technology projects from inception to completion.
  • Oversee the delivery of a portfolio of AI, Innovation, and Automation projects, coordinating resources, managing priorities, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with internal assessment and approval processes and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage project budgets, including accurate forecasting, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders, with a focus on the progress and impact of AI, Innovation, and Automation initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.

The successful Senior Delivery Manager will have:

  • Tech background who went into project and delivery mgt
  • Infrastructure, project and application experience – technical enough to understand the technology
  • 10+ years in project or delivery management, preferably in financial services.
  • Experience delivering SaaS solutions and managing cloud migration projects.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in automation contexts.
  • Strong understanding of AI and Automation technologies and their applications.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in RAID management, project scheduling, and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
