Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Tech & Finance, All Levels) - UK Wide
We work with a range of UK employers actively hiring across these roles.
Job Description:
UK-Based (On-Site, Hybrid or Remote)
About the Roles We're looking for talented Recruitment and Talent Acquisition professionals at all levels—from Resourcer, Researcher and Recruitment Consultant through to Senior and Principal Consultant, Technical / Finance Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Partner, Team Lead, Recruitment Manager and Head of Talent—across both agency and in-house, with a focus on the tech and finance markets. You spend your days spotting brilliant people and matching them to the right opportunity, so we'll keep this honest: these are roles where relationships, market knowledge and genuine care for people's careers turn into great hires.
You'll work across the full recruitment lifecycle—from understanding the need and building the pipeline through to engagement, assessment, offer and onboarding. The role suits someone who pairs strong sourcing and relationship-building craft with real curiosity about the markets they recruit in and the careers they help shape.
Key Responsibilities
Shared across both tracks:
- Source, engage and assess candidates across your specialist tech and / or finance disciplines
- Build talent pipelines and lasting networks in your market
- Manage candidates through the full process—screening, interview, feedback and offer
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers or clients
- Advise on the market—skills availability, salary benchmarks and hiring strategy
- Stay genuinely current on the roles, skills and trends in your sector
(Agency / 360 track focus):
- Develop new business and grow existing client accounts
- Own the full 360 cycle—business development, vacancy, sourcing and placement
- Negotiate fees, terms and offers
- Manage activity and hit billing targets
(In-house / Talent Acquisition track focus):
- Partner with hiring managers to define roles, scorecards and hiring plans
- Own the candidate experience and champion the employer brand
- Manage the ATS, pipeline reporting and hiring metrics
- Drive direct sourcing and reduce reliance on agencies
What You'll Bring
Recruitment Expertise:
- A track record in recruitment or talent acquisition (agency, in-house or both)
- Specialism—or a genuine appetite to specialise—in tech and / or finance hiring
- Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search, proactive outreach)
- ATS / CRM familiarity (Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, Vincere or similar)
- Enough understanding of the roles you recruit for to hold a credible conversation with candidates and hiring managers
- REC / IRP qualifications (Cert RP) a plus, but never essential
Relationship & Soft Skills:
- Natural relationship-building and the ability to influence on both sides of a hire
- Resilience, drive and a genuine competitive streak
- Excellent communication and negotiation
- A real interest in people's careers, not just the placement
- Commercial awareness and a consultative approach
- Collaborative, with high standards for candidate and client experience
Domain Flexibility:
- Roles span agency and in-house, permanent and contract, across the tech market (software, data, AI / ML, cloud and infrastructure) and the finance market (accounting, FP&A, audit, compliance, tax, investment and quant)
- Background in any of these is welcomed; appetite to move between agency and in-house, or into an adjacent specialism, valued just as much
Experience Level:
- Entry / resourcer level through to 8+ years for Recruitment Manager and Head of Talent positions
- Background in agency recruitment, in-house talent acquisition or executive search
- Examples of placements, pipelines or hiring projects you've owned end-to-end
What We Offer
- The opportunity to recruit in genuinely buoyant tech and finance markets where great talent is in real demand
- Exposure to modern sourcing, ATS and talent-intelligence tooling
- Roles at the level you're ready for—we're hiring across the full recruitment and talent spectrum
- A collaborative environment where relationship craft and market expertise are both valued
- Clear scope to develop specialist depth (sector, agency, in-house, search) or build toward leadership
- Flexible working arrangements (on-site, hybrid or remote) and supportive team culture
