Software Engineer

Software Developer (C#.NET) – Mansfield (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) – Up to £55k

Our client is looking for a C#.NET Software Developer to help revolutionise warehousing and fulfilment operations through Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (WMS) projects.

As part of the Warehouse Development team, you’ll design, develop, and deliver solutions that integrate Dynamics 365 F&O with large-scale automated logistics systems, ERP, OMS, and back-office platforms.

This is a fast-paced role where you’ll apply your technical skills, problem-solving ability, and collaborative approach to high-impact projects.

What you’ll do

• Configure and customise Dynamics F&O modules within Supply Chain & Retail.
• Develop custom solutions using C# and X++ to integrate Dynamics with core business systems.
• Build applications and integrations with Azure, Power Platform & Fabric.
• Work with both relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB).
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
• Take part in code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Keep up to date with the latest Dynamics 365 features to maximise value.
• Support existing business-critical systems during the transition to new platforms.

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in C#.NET, SQL & database design.
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (WMS/logistics modules a bonus).
• Knowledge of X++ (advantageous).
• Familiarity with Azure services, Power Platform & integration approaches.
• A strong problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Background in retail, warehouse, logistics or supply chain systems is desirable.
