User Experience Designer (Fareham)

Position: UI/UX Designer

Location: Based in Fareham onsite 5 days a week

Company Overview:

We have partnered with an innovative, product led tech company with a growing customer base across web and mobile platforms. The team is small, collaborative, and design focused led by co-founders who are hands-on and passionate about building intuitive, scalable digital experiences. Their newly launched mobile app is already in use by thousands of customers, with a strong pipeline of new features and refinements planned.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead UI/UX design for the company’s mobile app and supporting web platform
• Translate product ideas and requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Collaborate closely with co-founders, engineers, and external agencies
• Conduct ongoing testing and improvements to enhance usability and performance
• Establish internal design standards and best practices

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial UI/UX role
• Strong design portfolio with examples of mobile and web interfaces
• Experience with Figma (or similar design tools open to alternatives)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong eye for design detail and user-centric thinking

Desirable:

• Experience designing for mobile applications with constrained space
• Exposure to early stage/start-up environments
• Comfortable engaging with founders and helping define requirements

• You’ll be the first dedicated designer in the team
