We are working with a high growth European SaaS enterprise undergoing major product evolution and digital transformation across its marketplace platform.
They are investing heavily in user experience, product innovation and AI enabled capabilities, and are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to help uncover the insights that will drive the next phase of their platform.
This is a role for someone who is is research-first andenjoys solving complex problems, understanding real user behaviour, and influencing product decisions through deep research.
You will be joining a strong User Centred Design team working closely with Product, Design, Data and Engineering leaders.
What you will be doing
You will lead research that directly shapes product decisions across a large digital ecosystem.
Your work will involve:
- Leading end-to-end research programmes, from scoping through to insight delivery
- Conducting deep qualitative research (interviews, contextual inquiry, field research)
- Applying structured approaches such as Jobs to Be Done, mental models, and journey mapping
- Designing and executing mixed-method research where appropriate
- Translating research into clear, actionable insights that influence product and business decisions
- Working closely with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering leaders to shape direction
- Supporting and mentoring designers and teams to improve research quality and thinking
- Contributing to and improving research standards, frameworks, and ways of working
- Supporting the validation and design of AI-driven product features
What we are looking for
- 5+ years experience in UX or Product Research, with a research-first career path
- Strong expertise in qualitative research, with experience applying a range of methodologies
- Experience running end-to-end research independently in complex product environments
- Ability to select the right research methods based on problem, context, and constraints
- Strong experience influencing stakeholders and shaping product decisions
- Experience mentoring others or elevating research practices within a team
- Experience with platforms, marketplaces, or B2B products is highly valuable
