Industry: Market Making / Proprietary Trading / Capital Markets

Applicants who come from should come from a buy side / trading / capital markets environment will be given strong preference

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of escalation for any technical issues arising from the trading system
• Manage production environments daily, including monitoring, capacity management, problem resolution, and change management
• Ensure efficient resolution of issues while working closely with internal users and external counterparts
• Coordinate, organise, and implement changes with external vendors
• Plan, schedule, implement, and document change activities
• Improve documentation, create runbooks, and automate recurring processes

Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in financial services (preferred)
• Networking skills to CCNA level (preferred)
• Strong Linux system administration knowledge
• Experience maintaining Microsoft SQL Server
• Exposure to AWS (preferred)
• Experience with monitoring systems such as Grafana/Elasticsearch
• Coding experience, particularly in Python or Java

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge trading and technology
