Commercial Solicitor
COMMERCIAL SOLICITOR, 3-6 PQE, OXFORDSHIRE, £70,000 - £90,000 DOE – Join a national Legal 500-ranked law firm and enjoy the opportunity to work with an exciting and diverse client base, including international technology businesses, scale-ups, higher education and academic institutions, and science park developers. You will play an active role in the continued growth of the team and wider firm, while developing your expertise and building strong client relationships – JOB REF: 215305643
THE ROLE
You will advise a diverse client base on a broad range of commercial contracts and strategic projects, while handling high-value supply and purchasing arrangements, agency, distribution, and outsourcing agreements. You will also advise on IT agreements, intellectual property licensing and data protection matters, providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice and building strong, long-term client relationships. Alongside your fee-earning work, you will have the opportunity to contribute to business development, networking, and wider firm initiatives, working closely with Partners who will provide strong support to develop your technical and commercial skillset.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Commercial Solicitor with 3–6 PQE, with strong experience in commercial, IT and/or IP law. Experience within a City or leading regional firm is desirable, alongside strong technical, drafting and communication skills. You will be commercially minded and pragmatic, with the ability to understand clients’ businesses, provide clear advice and build strong relationships. A genuine interest in business development and contributing to the growth of the practice is also important.
