THE ROLE:
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a highly regarded Technology Disputes team advising on complex disputes in the technology sector. Acting for an impressive client base ranging from global organisations to high-growth technology businesses, you will advise on a broad spectrum of contentious matters involving technology projects, software and IT contracts, AI, data, fintech, telecommunications, and other emerging technologies.
Your caseload will include contractual disputes, negligence claims, data misuse, breach of confidence, trade secrets, and software-related intellectual property issues, with exposure to High Court litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years' PQE and experience in commercial litigation, technology disputes or IT disputes gained within a reputable private practice.
You will possess strong technical and drafting skills, excellent commercial awareness and a genuine interest in the technology and innovation sectors. Experience advising on technology contracts, software disputes, data-related litigation, or intellectual property matters would be advantageous, although candidates with a broader commercial litigation background and a keen interest in developing a technology disputes practice are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be proactive, commercially minded, and confident managing client relationships while contributing to business development and team growth.
