Linux Technical Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Linux Technical Specialist to manage and maintain our Linux-based infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support applications and services running on Linux platforms, while driving automation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
System Administration
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Perform system updates, patching, and performance tuning.
• Monitor system health and resolve technical issues proactively.
Security Management
• Implement and maintain security controls to protect system integrity.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
Network Management
• Configure and troubleshoot network settings on Linux systems.
• Ensure seamless connectivity and integration across platforms.
• Support DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP configurations.
Backup & Recovery
• Design and implement backup strategies for critical systems.
• Perform regular backups and validate recovery procedures.
Automation & Scripting
• Develop scripts to automate routine tasks using Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Support configuration management using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Support & Collaboration
• Provide technical support to internal teams and resolve Linux-related issues.
• Work closely with developers to optimize application performance.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.
• Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and compliance.

Required Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or Technical Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as RHCE, RHCSA, or LPI.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
