Role Title: Software Engineer/GoLang Developer
Contract duration: 12 months
Location: Burgess Hill- 3 days a week onsite
Job Description
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications.
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GoLang development, B2B API integration, network security and cloud-based services, and automated testing practices. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, optimize system performance, and contribute to modern cloud-native architectures.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with GoLang and related frameworks
- Experience building and deploying applications on Hydra & TIMS hosted services
- Knowledge of automated testing, including unit, integration, performance and end-to-end testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), source control, and agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Delivery on Payment Cloud services is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality GoLang applications and services
- Implement and support cloud-based infrastructure and services.
- Create and maintain automated test suites to ensure software quality.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
