Job Title: Network Consulting Architect
Location: Knutsford, UK(3 days WFO)
Duration: 30/9/2026
Pay Rate: £653 per day through FCSA Umbrella

Job Description:
Architect intrusion detection/prevention systems ensuring enterprise threat visibility and detection capability.

Key Responsibilities:
Design IDS/IPS architectures and integration with SIEM/SOC.
Define detection policies, tuning strategies, and false positive reduction processes.
Implement network traffic mirroring, packet brokers, and sensor placement.

Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of Snort/Suricata-based systems, Palo Alto Threat Prevention, Cisco Firepower, Zeek.
Strong packet analysis, threat detection logic, and signature development.
