Job Title: PAM Specialist (Privileged Access Management)

Location: Culham, Oxfordshire (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)
Contract: Until September 2026 (extension likely)
Rate: £55/hour Umbrella OR £40.08/hour PAYE

Overview

We are seeking an experienced PAM Specialist to join a high-profile programme within a secure and technically advanced environment. This is a hands-on role focused on implementing, configuring, and managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage PAM solutions across infrastructure environments
  • Configure and manage Privileged Remote Access (PRA) capabilities
  • Administer credential vaulting, password rotation, and access workflows
  • Configure privileged session monitoring and recording
  • Manage service account discovery and life cycle processes
  • Onboard systems including Windows, Linux/Unix, and network devices into PAM platforms
  • Support Active Directory privileged account management
  • Integrate PAM solutions with SIEM tools for logging and alerting
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to connectors, sessions, and integrations
  • Produce clear technical documentation and runbooks

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience with PAM tools such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea
  • Experience with Privileged Remote Access configuration and management
  • Strong understanding of password vaulting and privileged access workflows
  • Experience with session monitoring, recording, and auditing
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and enterprise infrastructure environments
  • Experience onboarding systems (Windows/Linux/network devices) into PAM platforms
  • Familiarity with SIEM integration and security event monitoring
  • Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain SC-level security clearance

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with BeyondTrust or CyberArk certifications
  • Knowledge of Endpoint Privilege Management
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python)
  • Experience with database privileged access (eg SQL Server)
  • Exposure to ITSM tools and change control processes
  • Experience in secure or regulated environments
