Role Title: Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid -Manchester and London (with occasional travel to Liverpool)

Duration: Initially for 2 months (with possibility of extension)

Role Description:

Must hold an Active SC & NPPVL3 are mandatory.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the delivery of a new IT Observability Service that will enhance visibility and performance management across applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Architecture

• Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

• Define observability use cases, workflows, data needs, and integration requirements.

• Support design of processes for monitoring, alerting, event handling, dashboards, and reporting.

• Facilitate workshops and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

• Produce documentation including requirements, user stories, process maps, and service definitions.

• Support testing, onboarding, and service adoption activities.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT or digital transformation.

• Understanding of monitoring, logging, or observability concepts.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to translate technical detail into clear business language.

• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk).

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and cloud platforms.

• Knowledge of AIOps or SRE practices.
