Role Title: Java, GCP Lead Consultant

Location: Crawley, UK

Contract duration: 6 months

Work mode: Hybrid, 10 days WFO/month

Pay Rate: £436 per day all inc. (Inside IR35)

Minimum years of experience:

4+ for Consultant

5+ for Lead Consultant

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Design and deploy solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Build and manage REST APIs and cloud-based integrations.

- Work with Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.

- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.

- Hands-on experience with GCP services.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Maven/Gradle.

- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.

- Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
