OpenShift Engineer

Role Purpose:

The OpenShift Senior Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing robust OpenShift cluster architectures that meet the bank's business and technical requirements. This includes multi-cloud, hybrid, and on-premises deployments, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement OpenShift cluster architecture for multi-cloud, hybrid, or on-prem environments.

• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to align solutions with the bank's strategic roadmap.

• Configure and optimize OpenShift clusters for performance, resilience, and security.

• Integrate OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and enterprise systems.

• Troubleshoot complex issues related to container orchestration and networking.

• Develop automation scripts and templates for cluster provisioning and lifecycle management.

• Ensure compliance with the bank's security and regulatory standards.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift (installation, configuration, and administration).

• Deep understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices architecture.

• Expertise in Linux systems, networking, and security principles.

• Familiarity with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
