Location: Swindon (Hybrid) Ad hoc attendance for meetings. This may change later on, but they have team members UK wide.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday HCM Analyst to support and enhance Innovate UK’s Workday platform, with a strong focus on Recruiting and Reporting.

This is a hands-on technical role within a BAU environment, responsible for delivering system improvements, supporting live services, and contributing to ongoing transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring the platform is optimised to meet both operational and strategic business needs.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver enhancements across Workday HCM, including configuration, reporting, and business process optimisation

· Provide expert support for Workday Recruiting, including requisitions, candidate workflows, and offer management

· Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR and recruitment insights

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective system solutions

· Lead workshops and translate business requirements into technical designs

· Manage and prioritise BAU support tickets, enhancements, and system changes

· Support Workday releases, including impact assessments and feature enablement

· Ensure alignment with governance, security, and compliance standards (including GDPR)

· Provide guidance and mentoring to HR and IT stakeholders

· Promote continuous improvement and best practice across Workday usage

Essential Skills & Experience

· 5+ years’ Workday experience, with strong expertise in Workday HCM

· Proven experience with Workday Recruiting and reporting

· Strong understanding of Workday configuration, security, or integrations

· Experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards

· Demonstrable experience in business process optimisation

· Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

· Solid understanding of end-to-end HR and recruitment processes

· Experience supporting system changes, releases, and BAU operations

· Strong attention to detail in highly governed environments

Desirable Skills

· Workday Prism Analytics experience

· Experience with additional Workday modules (e.g. Compensation, Absence, Payroll, Finance)

· Experience with Workday integrations (e.g. job boards, background checks)

· Public sector or highly regulated environment experience

· Consulting background

Qualifications

· Workday HCM Certification (essential)

· Workday Recruiting certification highly desirable
