Head of IT Infrastructure - Global Company
Our client, a global company with around 2,000 users, is seeking an experienced Head of IT Infrastructure to lead their IT strategy and modernisation roadmap.
You will manage the infrastructure modernisation roadmap, including M365, Azure, firewalls, and cloud improvements, while overseeing outsourced partners, third-party vendors and budgets to ensure value for money.
Responsibilities- Developing and executing a global IT infrastructure strategy
- Leading the design and implementation of network, server, and cloud infrastructure
- Managing infrastructure operations, including performance, capacity, availability, and resilience
- Overseeing disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Managing the infrastructure modernisation roadmap, including M365, Azure, firewalls, and improvements across the cloud estates
- Managing and governing outsourced service providers and third-party vendors to ensure service q
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing small IT infrastructure tea
Experience
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, Azure, or equivalent
- Experience managing infrastructure within complex, global organisations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of sustainability and carbon considerations within technology
