Interim Technology Lead – Carve-Out & Business Separation
12-month Contact
Rate: 750 to 800 per day Outside of IR35
We are seeking an experienced Interim Technology Lead to support a major carve-out and business separation programme within a complex, multi-vendor environment.
You will act as the technology lead for the Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure workstreams, collaborating with their System Integrators (SIs)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technology operations within a carve-out / separation environment
- Act as technology lead for Microsoft 365 and Azure, working closely with SIs and third parties
- Provide architectural and design input into platform deployment, migration and modernisation initiatives.
- Oversee delivery, transition and adoption of Microsoft and Oracle platforms
- Define and manage KPIs, SLAs and service performance metrics
- Provide architectural and design input into migration and modernisation initiatives
- Support operating-model design, service governance and RFP oversight
- Ensure platforms are secure, scalable and aligned to enterprise standards
- Manage complex supplier relationships and multi-vendor dependencies
Essential Experience
- Proven experience working on business separation, carve-out or major transformation programmes is essential
- Strong leadership experience across Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure
- Hands-on experience working with Service Integrators and third-party suppliers (essential)
- Strong understanding of ITSM, service transition and operational controls
- Experience delivering and migrating large-scale enterprise platforms
- Experience with technology migration programmes (on-prem to cloud, legacy to modern platforms, cloud to cloud, etc.).
- Microsoft Azure Cloud, Microsoft 365, Networking, SASE, SD-WAN, ZTNA.
Desirable
- Oracle platform experience
- Exposure to Zero Trust, modern security or cloud automation
- Microsoft, CCNA or project management certifications
