Technical Service Delivery Manager

We are working with a leading global organisation to recruit a Technical Service Delivery Manager to join their technology function.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong technical infrastructure background who is looking to move into a more service-delivery- and stakeholder-focused role while remaining technically credible.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, strategic technology partners and MSPs, ensuring infrastructure services are delivered effectively, securely and to agreed standards.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience working within an outsourced, managed-service or partner-led IT environment.
  • Experience managing or coordinating MSPs and multiple technology suppliers.
  • A strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and modern cloud technologies.
  • The technical confidence to challenge supplier designs, proposals and delivery approaches.
  • Experience managing complex technical workstreams through third parties from initiation through to completion.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to work with both highly technical teams and senior business stakeholders

E xperience across some or all of the following would be highly valuable:

  • SD-WAN, LAN/WAN and enterprise networking
  • SASE, Zero Trust (ZTNA) and perimeter security
  • Hybrid-cloud environments including Azure, AWS and/or OCI
  • IaaS, PaaS and modern cloud infrastructure
  • Enterprise storage and infrastructure platforms
  • Disaster Recovery and business continuity
  • Backup and resilience frameworks
  • Infrastructure security and technical standards
  • IT service management and change management
