Looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join a leading financial services organisation, working within a high-performing Enterprise Architecture team.

This is a key role focused on delivering the final phase of a large-scale Azure VMware Solution (AVS) migration (currently 75% complete), while also supporting a wider Azure cloud adoption strategy across a complex, enterprise environment.

πŸ”§ What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the remaining 25% of the AVS migration
  • Supporting Azure adoption across IaaS & PaaS services
  • Producing HLDs & LLDs and providing hands-on delivery support
  • Working across multiple initiatives including DR, backup, networking & cloud connectivity
  • Acting as a bridge between architecture, engineering, and enterprise governance
  • Troubleshooting performance and functional issues across platforms

🧠 Key experience required

  • Strong background as an Infrastructure / Cloud Architect
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, governance)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
  • Solid knowledge of hybrid infrastructure & networking (SD-WAN, ExpressRoute, Hub & Spoke)
  • Experience with backup & DR solutions (e.g. Commvault, Cohesity, JetStream)
  • Ability to produce and present technical designs (HLD/LLD)
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments (desirable)
