Project Manager – Financial Services

£600-650/day via an Umbrella

Our client, a leading Financial Services organisation, is seeking to onboard a number of Project Manager's to lead the delivery of business and technology initiatives.

The roles will be responsible for driving the delivery of change programmes from initiation through to implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

The successful candidates will demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement skills, working closely with business leaders, delivery teams, and technology partners to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of projects across business and technology teams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Manage project scope, milestones, risks, and dependencies.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees, and status updates.
  • Ensure clear communication of project progress, risks, and decisions.

Delivery Coordination

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, analysts, and technical delivery teams.
  • Ensure alignment between project objectives and wider organisational strategy.
  • Support teams in removing delivery blockers and driving progress.

Governance & Reporting

Maintain project governance documentation including:

  • RAID logs
  • Status reporting
  • Delivery plans
  • Stakeholder communications
  • Provide regular reporting to programme leadership and executive stakeholders.

Implementation & Change

  • Support the successful implementation of project outcomes into the business.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Proven Project Management experience with a background in Financial Services.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong experience delivering business-focused change initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across business and technology functions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within Wealth Management environments.
  • Understanding of advisor-led wealth management operating models.
  • Experience delivering projects involving Salesforce platforms.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery frameworks.
