🚀 UX Designer – AI & Emerging Technology

📍 London – Hybrid (2-days onsite per week)

💰 £575/day Inside IR35

📅 6-month contract – scope for extension

We’re looking for an experienced UX Designer to join an exciting programme focused on designing at the forefront of AI and emerging technology within a regulated environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in new and evolving spaces, where there isn’t always a defined roadmap or established precedent. You’ll have the opportunity to explore complex problem spaces, identify opportunities and help shape product direction and end-to-end experiences.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong UX background with experience defining end-to-end experiences, systems and interactions
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements
• Ability to shape how systems work and behave, rather than focusing solely on traditional service design
• Experience using journeys, blueprints, frameworks and methodologies to structure complex problems
• Strong understanding of users through research, synthesis and stakeholder alignment
• Ability to turn complex, ambiguous problems into structured and actionable thinking
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think beyond individual features and contribute to wider product direction
• Curiosity and a genuine interest in AI and emerging interaction patterns

AI & Emerging Technology

You don’t need deep AI experience for this role. What’s important is your curiosity, awareness and perspective on where technology is heading.

We’re particularly interested in people who have an understanding or point of view around areas such as:

🤖 Agentic AI

💬 Conversational interfaces

🎙️ Voice experiences

🔄 Emerging interaction patterns

This role is less about maintaining existing design systems and more about creating new experiences and defining what comes next. Strong visual design and design-system support is already in place, so we’re looking for someone who can bring strategic UX thinking and a fresh perspective.
