Project Manager
Reports to: Chief Information Officer
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to deliver impactful technology projects? We’re seeking a proactive, organised individual to manage IT initiatives and ensure successful outcomes for both customers and the organisation.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. You’ll coordinate project activities, support planning efforts, and help ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
Working with key stakeholders across the business, you’ll provide regular updates, manage expectations, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support effective and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and delivery of IT and technology projects
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Support governance processes and ensure adherence to project standards
- Coordinate resources, track progress, and manage risks and issues
- Build effective working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
- Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and outcomes
- Ensure projects align with organisational goals and priorities
- Contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery practices
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering IT or technology projects
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate across teams
- Good understanding of project management principles, including risk and planning
- Comfortable working with project management tools such as Asana, Halo, or Monday.com
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment
Desirable Qualifications
- PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner
- ITIL 4 Foundation
- AgilePM Foundation or CompTIA Project+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Understanding of public sector procurement, DfE frameworks, and MATs
