The role of Migration Test Lead is crucial for overseeing and ensuring the successful migration of data within the organization. The primary goal is to verify that data is accurately transitioned from one system to another while maintaining data integrity and format throughout the process.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate data migration testing, ensuring that all migration tasks are performed thoroughly and accurately.

• Develop and execute test scripts for data movement, focusing on verifying data accuracy between source and target systems.

• Address ambiguities in mapping specifications as they arise, ensuring clarity and consistency in testing processes.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including direct reporting to Adrian, to summarize and articulate any issues quickly.

• Initiate testing efforts despite preliminary mapping not being completed, demonstrating quick adaptability and problem-solving skills.

• Participate in final interviews alongside Adrian and project collaborator, Graham.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in migration testing, specifically in wealth management data migration projects.

• Strong understanding of data masking techniques and their application in testing.

• Ability to work with ambiguous mapping specifications and adjust to changes efficiently.

• Clear communication skills to convey issues succinctly to stakeholders.
