This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing SaaS business operating within highly regulated and operationally complex industries. With an enterprise customer base across global markets, the company is now expanding its commercial capability and investing heavily in a brand new Solution Selling function. If you're passionate about building high performing teams, elevating solution strategy, and shaping how complex products are positioned in enterprise sales cycles, this could be your next step.
What you'll be doing:
- Build and lead a brand new Solution Selling function from the ground up
- Recruit, develop and mentor a high calibre team of Solution Consultants
- Define how Solution Selling supports each stage of the enterprise sales cycle
- Work closely with Sales, Product and Marketing to align go to market messaging
- Create scalable frameworks for demos, discovery, qualification, RFPs and value-based selling
- Oversee technical discovery and translate customer challenges into tailored solution designs
- Shape and deliver compelling demos, trials and PoCs across a complex product portfolio
- Lead involvement on strategic, high value enterprise deals
- Build repeatable tools, playbooks and processes to support global scalability
- Monitor industry trends and maintain competitive intelligence
- Feed customer insights into the product roadmap and influence portfolio evolution
- Enable Sales, Customer Success and partners with ongoing solution and product training
- Establish a scalable operating model with clear KPIs and team development plans
What you need to apply:
- 10+ years' experience in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solution Selling or similar B2B SaaS roles
- 5+ years' leadership experience growing or managing pre sales / solution teams
- Strong background in enterprise sales cycles, including discovery, solution design, RFPs and PoCs
- Experience within complex or regulated industries such as aviation, aerospace, defence, logistics or transportation
- Ability to turn operational challenges into compelling solution architectures and value propositions
- Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills
- Experience in creating competitive positioning frameworks, battle cards and messaging
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Sales, Product, Marketing and Customer Success
- Proven track record in building scalable processes, playbooks and operating models
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer and market insights
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events
