We are heading up a recruitment drive for a global consultancy that require a Senior Cyber Advisor to join them on a major banking project that's based in Glasgow.

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Consultant for a part time role (50% utilisation) with an initial duration of 3 months. The ideal candidate will possess deep AWS security expertise and desirable certifications. This position requires a solid understanding of generative AI, including securing GenAI implementations. The Senior Cyber Security Consultant will liaise with the client's CSO/CISO team and manage a small team of cybersecurity consultants, supporting multiple teams of AI application engineers.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage AWS security measures and best practices.
Collaborate with the client's CSO/CISO team to ensure alignment with security policies and objectives.
Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity consultants.
Provide support to AI application engineering teams in securing AI implementations.
Understand and apply GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) frameworks to AI architectures.
Develop and tailor cybersecurity frameworks to meet client-specific governance and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience and Attributes
Extensive experience with AWS security.
Relevant security certifications (eg, CISSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty).
Strong awareness and understanding of generative AI and securing GenAI implementations.
Experience liaising with CSO/CISO teams and managing cybersecurity consultants.
Proficiency in GRC frameworks and their application to AI architectures.
Ability to develop tailored cybersecurity frameworks to meet governance and regulatory demands.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desirable Skills
Knowledge of other cloud platforms (eg, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with machine learning and AI security.
Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance.
