We are heading up a recruitment drive for a global consultancy that require a DV and NPPV Cleared Wintel/VMWare SME to join them on a major government project that's based in London (50% on site).

Role Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMware Engineer to design, deploy, a new ESX Virtualised Platform including management tooling, manage multiple virtual machines (VMs) in a dynamic enterprise secure policing environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware technologies and a strong understanding of virtualization, networking, and storage integration.
• Design and implement VMware-based infrastructure to support the business requirement including multiple VMs across various environments.
• Build, configure, and maintain virtual machines using vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to virtualization.
• Collaborate with network, storage, and security teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies.
