governr is the AI control infrastructure for regulated industries. We help organisations govern AI safely, compliantly, and at scale. We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who's equally at home in the browser and on the server, and who wants to help build something that matters.
You'll work across the full stack, shipping features end-to-end and contributing to a codebase you can be proud of. You'll have real influence over technical decisions and work closely with a small, talented team.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain features across front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js with Express.js) in TypeScript, taking end-to-end ownership
- Design and optimise data models in Postgres, with Redis for caching and performance-critical paths
- Work with AWS services to build reliable, scalable infrastructure
- Manage containerised services with Docker and Kubernetes, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to architecture discussions and help set technical direction as we grow
- Write well-tested, maintainable code and review your teammates' work thoughtfully
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of full stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript. You've shipped production applications with all of these
- Solid experience with Postgres and Redis in production environments
- Comfortable working on AWS, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, or similar
- Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or equivalent
- You take quality seriously: testing, code review, and good documentation are non-negotiable for you
- Comfortable using AI tools to support and accelerate your work. We actively encourage it
- Fintech or regulated industry experience is a plus
