Application Support Engineer – Event Software

Are you a Software Support or Application Support professional with an understanding of the code behind web applications? Even better, do you have experience of coding and development? Fancy travelling around the world as part of your role to the likes of Europe, Tokyo, Australia, USA etc? We are looking for a technical individual who can support and tweak the code in our bespoke Web applications based on the real time needs of our clients. You will be visiting events across the world that use our software products, and will be responsible for ensuring the applications are working to support these live events. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading technology companies that supply into the conference and events industry. This role will suit a Web Developer, Application Support, Software Support or Technical Support individual with the ability to code or tweak the code that form our bespoke apps. You will be configuring and supporting applications both remotely and on site at events.  

Role: Application Support Engineer aka Technical Support Engineer, Software Support Engineer, Junior Software Developer, Web Developer, Event Technology Specialist, Junior Web Developer    

Salary: £25k - £30k base salary + great benefits including FREE WORLDWIDE TRAVEL. 

Location: Hybrid with Worldwide travel! Head office is in Buckingham – during probation you will be working from the office 3 days a week, 2 days from home. This will become more flexible after probation. You will often have the exciting opportunity to travel around the globe, visiting and working at events, ALL EXPENSES PAID!  

PLEASE NOTE, you must be flexible to work evenings and weekends where certain events demand this. 

So, if you have previous experience working in a Software / Application Support or as a Software or Web Developer with a love for supporting clients, this could be a great fit for you. A basic understanding of writing code would be required, preferably with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP would be great.
