Polaris Developer – Insurance pricing systems

Are you an Insurance Systems Developer with experience working with Polaris ProductWriter? Are you ready to help shape the future of insurance pricing? We’re on the lookout for a talented and curious mind to join our Actuarial team, supporting the development of our pricing and underwriting capability through Polaris ProductWriter. You’ll work alongside our Rating Engine Manager to plan, build, test and deliver ProductWriter schemes across our insurance brands.

Role: Rating Engine Developer aka Polaris Developer, Polaris ProductWriter, Insurance Systems Developer, ProductWriter Developer, ProductWriter Analyst, Pricing Systems Developer, Pricing Analyst, Pricing Systems Analyst  

Location: Hybrid – 1 day a week in the office (Borehamwood or Paddington)

What you’ll bring to the table: 

Previous experience in a similar role using Polaris ProductWriter would be ideal, however is not a necessity. If you have a logical mindset, problem-solving flair, and technical curiosity, then we are happy to teach you the rest. Experience with tools like SQL, SAS or Excel will help you thrive as you maintain and enhance our rating engine, support model integration, and ensure accuracy across our systems. You’ll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your analytical skills and attention to detail will make a real difference to the competitiveness of our pricing.
