The Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing category strategies, conducting market analysis, leading bid preparations, evaluating tenders, and negotiating contracts to maximise value.
You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to manage projects from planning through to contract initiation, ensuring successful delivery within established timelines.
Building strong relationships is crucial, as you’ll interact with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
Additionally, you’ll support supplier reviews, assess emerging technologies, and play a key role in shaping procurement decisions.
Experience with e-Procurement systems is essential, along with skills in commercial contract drafting and tendering. While CIPS membership and knowledge of public procurement are advantageous, we can offer support to help you obtain CIPS certification if desired.
