Senior Account Executive
Our client is a trailblazer in Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) supply chain and inventory solutions. With a significant foothold in public sector organisations like the NHS, this US company is poised for its next exciting growth phase. They are seeking a new business hunter to play a pivotal role in their expansion, supported by innovation, a referenceable client base, and a dedicated team.
The Role:
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by developing a go-to-market (GTM) sales strategy.
- Generate a pipeline from ideal customer profile (ICP) accounts through value-driven and personalised outreach.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and government entities, to expand influence, build long-term partnerships, and uncover new opportunities.
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams, including Solutions Engineers, Product, and Customer Success, to pursue shared objectives.
- Engage with the industry by attending trade shows, roundtables, and events.
- Develop your personal brand through knowledge sharing and active engagement, establishing a reputation for integrity.
- Respond effectively to tenders and frameworks in a timely and thorough manner.
What We Look For:
- A passion for and experience of working within the Public Sector.
- Familiarity with procurement frameworks and Public Sector associations is highly advantageous.
- Background in either Procure to Pay or Source to Pay arena.
- A solid understanding of the tender process, including RFP and RFI stages.
- Awareness of Public Sector trends to stay ahead of initiatives.
- Commercially astute in protecting margins and achieving financial targets.
- A proven track record of consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies that support a strategic approach to selling and experience managing complex sales processes.
- Exceptional presentation, writing, and listening skills to establish credibility at a senior level.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and recognise opportunity within ambiguity.
