Senior Account Manager
Our client is a leader in Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) supply chain and inventory solutions. With a strong presence in public sector organisations such as the NHS and local government, this US-based company is ready for a new growth phase. They are seeking a new business hunter to take on a crucial role in their go-to-market expansion, supported by innovative solutions, a reputable client base, and a committed team. This position allows you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK.
The Role:
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by crafting an effective go-to-market (GTM) sales strategy.
- Generate a pipeline from ideal customer profile (ICP) accounts.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and government agencies, to expand influence and foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams, including Solutions Engineers, Product, and Customer Success, to achieve common goals.
- Engage with the industry by participating in trade shows, roundtables, and events.
- Develop your personal brand through knowledge sharing, engagement, and active participation.
What We Look For:
- Strong experience selling into the Public Sector or a background in either Procure-to-Pay or Source-to-Pay. Having both is a huge plus.
- Familiarity with procurement frameworks and Public Sector associations is highly beneficial.
- An understanding of the tender process, including RFP and RFI stages.
- Commercially savvy, with a focus on protecting margins and achieving financial targets.
- A minimum of three years' experience selling software solutions.
- A proven track record of pipeline development and quota achievement.
- Experience with sales methodologies that support a strategic sales cycle.
- Excellent presentation, writing, and listening skills to establish credibility at senior levels.
- An entrepreneurial hunter mindset to seek out opportunities.
